Lynda is in Florida, attending some personal growth seminars, and I am here in San Diego, plotting our exit strategy from the “real world” and our escape on to the “Road Trip FOR a Lifetime”… So damn excited I can’t contain myself. Then a sigh… It will be awhile, as we need to take our time and plan it out plus purchase all the big ticket items (solar panels for boondocking and so forth).
We aren’t retiring, instead, intend on earning a living while traveling. Lynda’s work is perfect for that, as she is a business coach. She has taken several financial planners from doing ok to being able to retire in about 4 years. She is spectacular at it. and already has one client signed up and several more waiting.. Hell, I may be a kept man.
So the overall plan is 2015, or earlier if we can put it all together. and I am so ready to go. So, looking for tips, tricks, and great places to go see when we finally get on this journey. Included on our list:

Glacier Nat’l Park/Waterton Lakes NP (Montana/Alberta) is a beautiful area, especially if you are going to the Pac Northwest – full day drive beyond Yellowstone.
Bruce, thanks! I have it on the list.. woot woot
While you’re in the Yellowstone area, visit the Grand Tetons. Incredibly breathtaking, to say the least.
Also, any Utah parks? Our favorite is Arches National Park. Absolutely loved the hiking at dawn through the red rocks. Stayed at Devil’s Garden campground. No hook-ups though.
Also if you are traveling North from the Keys, stop at Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. Two wonderful southern cities to visit with plenty of campgrounds in the area.
Will look into that… we are so jazzed… woot woot!
